Before you connect

The maker's help requires Flipsnack workspace administrator permission and an authorized connection; ChatGPT workspace approval may also be needed. The connection uses the default Flipsnack workspace. PDFs uploaded in chat cannot be converted: a public PDF URL without login, password, or firewall restrictions is required. Do not make confidential documents public to meet this requirement. The free plan lists five flipbooks of 15 pages each with Flipsnack branding; this does not establish that every app action is free. Starter is US$16/month billed annually at US$192. The reviewed comparison places statistics and password protection on Pro and private sharing with named people on Business. Paid plans renew unless canceled at least 48 hours before expiry. Refunds are discretionary and must be requested within seven days for monthly plans or 14 days for annual plans. Content published on public profiles or catalogs is visible; unlisted means accessible by link, not restricted to named people. Reader, lead, and analytics data may be processed by service providers abroad. The privacy policy describes cleanup within 30 days of account deletion, except for legal obligations. Flipsnack's separate AI policy contractually prohibits model training on inputs and outputs of its own AI features; this does not cover all ChatGPT conversations or connector data flows. Creation, metadata or visibility changes, and deletion affect the account and may publish documents. The maker's help calls for confirmation before changes. Check workspace, visibility, and rights before writing, sharing, or deleting. Relevant chat and memory may be shared with the app; ChatGPT training preferences do not establish the maker's policy. Connection, paid actions, uploads, edits, sharing, and publishing were not tested.
